At Sarva Vidya, efforts are made to identify deserving girls from the village schools. This process is undertaken every year immediately on completion of +2 examinations. The interactive programs are conducted to educate them about the “Diploma in Patient Care” vocational course and also placement opportunities as well as the earning potential.

We try to address the parents to highlight Sarva Vidya’s “Empower to Enable” vision. In the process, the parents will be able to understand the benefits that children will enjoy in terms of education, learning, training, practical internship and a host of information that concerns them. This is by no means an easy feat that can be achieved only through community involvement, local NGOs and volunteer’s co-operation, which makes the parents to understand the difference that the program will make to their children’s future.

Induction program is conducted through invitation for the parents along with their girl children. Periodic Parent Teacher meeting are also conducted to promote parental involvement in the education of their children and also to update their performance. The students also get an opportunity to interact with their seniors to gain first hand knowledge and experience. With access to the right resources, the girls can be empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fullfill their potential.

Class Room Education
The theoretical education is handled by experienced lecturers in nursing education. Audio Visual methods are also employed to make the sessions interesting, interactive and to improve the retention power. The Principal / Vice Principal are well qualified for the Patient Care Program. Additional inputs to improve English knowledge, communication, computer basics, technical inputs in subjects like dialysis, Geriatrics etc., are meticulously included in the training process. Confidence building is infused to the students by program conducted by “Born To Win” organization. This program transforms the mindset of the girls from timidity to confidence.

Sarva Vidya lays the focus primarily in the practical intensive hospital training for two years. Sarva Vidya has a network with several hospitals and closely interact to place our students for the two year hospital training program. During training, the students derive the benefit of the intense practical hands-on experience in Patient Care. During training, the students get a decent stipend that help them to meet their expenses & also to support their family to some extent. The students of Sarva Vidya are assured of placement in hospitals with decent package on completion of the course.

As part of Sarva Vidya’s mission, we strive to focus on the students good health and positive outlook at all times. Monthly medical checks are conduted by networking with Shree Sai Healing Trust. Nutritious food is provided to students to improve overall health parameters.
